About the Company
This is the holding company of the group and the oldest member. From 1996 the group has been able to achieve phenomenal growth due to the far sighted fiscal policies and uncompromising stance on quality of its products. Attention to detail and never ending quest for perfection ensure Raigam will stand the test of time.
In the latter part of 1996, two forward looking young men started a Soya manufacturing business, after market survey, to try out in practice what they learned as theory. Searching for a name for their infant company, they thought why not RAIGAM, the name of the Kingdom which flourished here in the past, having its seat of power in the same area. To add KINGDOM to the name was only logical. They started with USD 20,000/- and 10 workers. Today, we are a company with more than 1400 workers and an annual turnover of more than USD 12 Million. Number of subsidiaries has become 04 and production has increased to 02 million packets of Soya Meat per month.
Undergoing product diversification, the Kingdom of Raigam embarked on the production of a number of Food Items and Ayurvedic Products. Going in to the very complex production process of making Biscuits, Raigam is now ranked No. 3 in the market for the manufacture of Biscuits. The success of Raigam is due to our belief in the long term relationship with our customers by building trust and goodwill with them. Our very young and dynamic higher management and highly qualified young staff have brought Raigam to where it is today.
Careful attention to detail, stringent quality controls and genuine concern for worker welfare ensures Raigam will scale even greater heights. At the very inception, Raigam introduced pioneering steps to the Business Field such as Triple Lamination to pack Soya instead of old fashioned Printed Polythene & Soya in various Fish and Meat flavors as a substitute for real fish and meat as Soya at that time was aimed primarily at the vegetarian clientele.
Raigam was further etched in to the minds of customers by the introduction of the art getting the Product to the end user as fast as possible without any promotional activity and introduction of the first automated machinery for the packing of Flavoring Sachet for individual Soya packets.
