Leading two ancillary and critical businesses initiated by P1F Limited in the past six-months in areas of plantation management and app development, where each business requires committed management to take from concept stage to full delivery and market entry phase. The Business Manager will be responsible for all research, stakeholder management, marketing, and investor pitching for each business, working alongside the CEO at critical junction points but largely working independently. This requires an individual who is self-motivated, driven to succeed, is looking for an opportunity to fulfil their full potential and have access to international business opportunities, and is a natural team-player and leader in achieving goals.

Position Requirements

  • Lead 2 P1F businesses from concept to delivery and management phase
  • Be responsible for research, marketing, stakeholder management, and investment pitching for each business
  • Bachelors Degree (or equivalent)
  • Looking for opportunity to excel in the area of business development

  • Proficient in English, Sinhala and Tamil (Written and Spoken)

About the Company

P1F Ltd is a UK based design, development and investment firm, using development as a vehicle for change. Our focus is on frontier and emerging markets, particularly focussing on post-conflict countries because of a need for private-sector-lead development, and the commercial opportunities that come with this. We of course must accept the increased risk in these contexts, and therefore precede any investments in these countries with in-depth research and relationship building using our extensive global network, ultimately finding the most lucrative and secure projects that will not only generate above-average frontier returns but inspire change in the process. This is our specialty.

We are formed of a diverse international team composed of Architects, Engineers, Investment Bankers, Wealth Managers, Real Estate professionals and Branding and Marketing specialists, all passionate about transforming the world through game-changing development. Established in 2016, our focus is currently in SE Asia, particularly in Sri Lanka where we have two ongoing projects.

The company is lead by Naveen Anandakumar, an alumnus of University of Cambridge, having studied both Architecture and Civil Engineering. He has always been passionate and committed to using design to transform lives, most notably in his work towards regeneration in Sri Lanka. This work has ranged from housing for Internally Displaced Peoples following the war to flood mitigation master-planning in the Eastern Province. These experiences have helped to foster not only a growing specialism for urban regeneration, but to ingrain a strong belief in the power of design and positive development in meeting any challenge moving forward. Naveen has presented at the Davos World Economic Forum, received awards from the Royal Institute of British Architects, and is a member of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects, an invite-only group based in London championing the Architecture profession in the United Kingdom.
