Promote healthy working relationships / take appropriate initiatives to minimize absenteeism and turnover of

Machine Operators

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Record attendance of the Machine operators line wise daily, and depending on the period of absence take appropriate measures (sending telegram to absentee, issue warning letter etc.) Visiting Machine Opera­tors in designated areas in cases of unauthorized leave or period absence, and follow up progress (upon return to work) in order to find out reason and solve problem if possible
  • Counseling / interacting with Machine Operators in problematic lines or at defined times in cases of low efficiency, high absenteeism or on special instances to solve problems and take appropriate measures (resolve problems when possible, issue warning letters etc.)
  • Attend Works Committee Meeting and Food Committee meetings held at regular intervals to find prob­lems or give messages to be communicated to lines
  • Organize Parents day and special events to harbour good relations between company and concerned par­ties
  • Identify areas of concern that may result in low productivity / high absenteeism & turnover of Machine Operators and generate and recommend suitable action plans to minimize adverse effects on production performance
  • Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management

Position Requirements

  • A Degree in HR or related field from a recognized institute.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in HR in manufacturing company
  • Fluent in Tamil & English
