Job Description

Data Centre and cloud 

The Job :

  • This position is responsible to manage the end to end presales process to ensure presales targets are met and quality solution proposals are developed as per SLAs.
  • Position Cumulus as the leading cloud solution provider in the Sri Lankan enterprise market by presales consultations.
  • Direct the presales team to position Cumulus as the leading cloud solution brand in the country by conducting Presales meetings /Presentations.
  • Maintain highest professionalism and competency on all presales efforts to facilitate cloud transformation of enterprise customers.
  • Forge relationships at CIO level and strategic touch points such that cumulus will be top of mind in all their cloud and IDC requirements.
  • Act as the bid manager in all strategic and large scale RFP (Request for proposals) and Tender submissions to ensure Dialog provides the most Comprehensive and competitive response.
  • Responsible for achieving presales and revenue targets as per the ABP (Annual business plan).
  • Work closely with enterprise sales and development teams to ensure Channel effectiveness in achieving annual revenue targets.
  • Identify new market segments and produce new marketing plans to boost the revenue growth.
  • Lead the IDC presale team with example to create synergy in the IDC value chain across sales, products and engineering to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Identify and develop suitable alternative channels and provide presales coordination to ensure channel effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to ensure all customer solutions are delivered on time to achieve enterprise and business segment key performance indicators in order to achieve divisional and organizational goals.
  • Periodic training to the sales and the channel partners on Dialog IDC products and differentiation in order to keep them updated.
  • Lead the flagship projects and build a rapport in order to win sales as well as service customers

Position Requirements

  • Degree in the field of IT or Engineering
  • 2 years experiences with similar capacity in IT company / System Integrator SI
  • Hands on experience in Cloud based environment, IT solution development and technical sales
  • Should be able to build client relationships, conduct product presentations and Meeting sales goals
  • Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills
